Ancilla Systems, Inc. Selects Seasoned Professionals for Development Positions

Hobart, IN – Toni Mola, Administrator for Ancilla Systems, Inc.(ASI), announced today the appointment of Trish Alt and Renae Brantley, to fill two positions in the newly created Office of Development Services.
Trish Alt, Director, Development Services, will focus on working with all the ministries of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ (PHJC) to establish a development foundation and identify opportunities to enhance existing development activities. Renae Brantley, Regional Director of Development Services and External Relations, will work with the PHJC ministries in Northwest Indiana, as well as, provide direction and support in working with external constituents to promote advocacy on behalf of all of our ministries.
For the past 10 years Alt has provided development consulting services through Philanthropy Partners, a company she developed, that provided training, workshops and consultations to community foundations and other charitable organizations to enhance their fundraising efforts. She has also assisted community based organizations with fund development, planned giving, grant-making, endowment building and governance issues. A graduate of Indiana University at Bloomington, Trish holds a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications.
Brantley comes to ASI from HealthVisions Midwest, Inc., a PHJC ministry located in East Chicago, where she was Director of Grants and Communications for more than six years. She has more than 25 years experience in government, academic, and not-for-profit management. She also is an Adjunct Faculty member of the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and Continuing Studies at Indiana University Northwest, where she teaches Grant Writing Fundraising, and Public Relations. She also consults with a variety of non-for-profit organizations on fund development, grant writing, and board development.
Prior to HealthVisions, she worked in grant making and community development, and fund development and training for the late Governor Frank O’Bannon, the American Library Association, and Purdue University. Renae received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English from Purdue University.
Ancilla Systems, Inc. is the administrator for the PHJC service ministries that evolved from the changing health care focus of the Ancilla network of hospitals. The PHJC ministries operate under a Ministry Model based on the values and charism of the Poor Handmaids, and focused on a collaborative approach to ministry-wide relationships.
